  2. Groups palette
  3.    Drag the Title bar to reposition the palette.
  4.  
  5.    Click the Close box to turn the palette display ‚Äúoff‚Äù.
  6.  
  7.    Click the Window shade box to ‚Äúcompress‚Äù the palette, and move it off View 
  8.    windows; click on Window shade button on ‚Äúcompressed‚Äù palette to expand 
  9.    the palette, and move it back to its previous position over View windows.

  11.    Click on a list/chart item to select it (bounding box selection).

  13.    Double-click on a list/chart item to access its Info dialog box.

  15.       ‚ÄúI‚Äù column
  16.          Insertion pointer (red, right-pointing arrow) indicates list-position for next 
  17.          item insertion. Drag the arrow in the column. (When an item(s) is 
  18.          added/created in the database, its position in the list is determined by the 
  19.          Insertion pointer.) 
  20.       ‚ÄúD‚Äù column (radio buttons)
  21.          Controls item display in View windows; black indicates item displays 
  22.          normally (wire frame); white indicates item display is ‚Äúoff‚Äù; gray indicates 
  23.          bounding box display (Option-click in column). Click in column next to item 
  24.          to toggle ‚Äúon/off‚Äù.
  25.       Name list
  26.          Hierarchical list of all items in the database. To rearrange the list items: 
  27.          select an item; drag it to a new position in the list; or cut the item, and paste 
  28.          it into the list (Insertion pointer determines new position).
  29.       List-item icons
  30.          Pencil icon
  31.             represents individual object. 
  32.          Folder icon (aka parent)
  33.             represents a group of items (aka children); gray, right-pointing arrow next 
  34.             to a folder indicates closed folder (items in the folder are not shown in the 
  35.             list); click on arrow to open folder (gray, down-pointing arrow next to a 
  36.             folder (items in the folder are shown in the list)).
  37.          Broken pencil icon
  38.             represents Morphable Spline Mesh object (v3.2 or later).
  39.          Book icon
  40.             represents Library item, or an insertion of a Library item. Drag an item 
  41.             from this palette onto the Libraries palette to convert the item to a 
  42.             Library item.
  43.          File Cabinet icon
  44.             represents an assembly ‚Äúfolder‚Äù item-type (i.e. Boolean difference folder).
  45.       Lock/Unlock buttons
  46.          Red, closed padlock button
  47.             Select a list item; click on the Lock button; red, closed padlock shows 
  48.             next    to the list item, and holds item geometry from changes.
  49.          Green, open padlock button
  50.             Select a ‚Äúlocked‚Äù list item; click on the Unlock button; removes the red 
  51.             padlock from the list; frees item geometry to changes.
  52.                         Chart/List palette view button
  53.                                     Controls Groups palette display mode; click on button to toggle between 
  54.                                     Chart and List display modes.
  55.       List mode
  56.          Described above.
  57.       Chart mode
  58.             Displays database in ‚Äútree‚Äù hierarchy (similar to organizational chart). 
  59.             Item rearrangement is not possible (most other functions same as List 
  60.             mode). The database is represented at the top (folder-box labeled 
  61.             ‚ÄúDesign‚Äù). Each item in the data base is represented by a box. Each box 
  62.             shows the item name, list-item type icon, and item display radio button; 
  63.             gray, right-pointing arrow at the bottom of a folder indicates closed folder 
  64.             (items in the folder are not shown in the chart). Click on the gray arrow to 
  65.             toggle ‚Äúon/off‚Äù the display of folder items in the chart.
  66.
